Waterloo Innovation Park originally consisted of two single-storey flex office buildings at 611 and 615 Kumpf Drive, as well as additional development land. Designed by ABA Architects, Colonia Treuhand built two further buildings totalling 95,000 square feet on spec in 2006 at 619A and 619B Kumpf Drive, and subsequently leased them to BlackBerry (formerly RIM). A seven-storey parking garage was also added. Today, the buildings at 619A and 619B Kumpf Drive are leased long-term to fin-tech and cyber security tenants.
